Energy Sector: Confidential Translations for ANRE
Challenge
The Romanian Energy Regulatory Authority (ANRE) is tasked with regulating and overseeing Romania's energy sector. This includes ensuring compliance with national and EU laws, setting tariffs, promoting fair competition, and fostering sustainable energy development and consumer protection.
Given the complexity of these responsibilities, ANRE needed a secure and reliable translation solution for its regulatory documents to ensure accurate, confidential, and multilingual communication across different languages.
The translation had to maintain the integrity of sensitive information while facilitating clear communication with various stakeholders, both within Romania and across the European Union.
Solution
Product: On-Premise Machine Translation Software
To meet ANRE’s requirements, Lingvanex provided an on-premise translation software solution, capable of translating unlimited volumes of documents into 17 languages at a fixed price. This solution was designed to handle the high volume and sensitivity of the regulatory documents, ensuring that translations were both accurate and secure.
To guarantee the quality and speed of the translations, Lingvanex offered a one-month free trial period, allowing ANRE to conduct comprehensive testing before full integration. During this trial, ANRE was able to verify the software’s performance under operational conditions.
Following the successful completion of the trial, the Lingvanex on-premise MT software was deployed on ANRE’s infrastructure, allowing them to translate millions of pages of regulatory documents per day, while safeguarding against potential security risks.
Results
The implementation of the Lingvanex on-premise MT solution has provided ANRE with a secure and efficient means of translating regulatory documents.
The solution’s capacity to handle large volumes of translations at a fixed cost has streamlined ANRE’s operations, making the translation process more predictable and cost-effective.
